At first, they are portrayed as ruthless warriors who protect their land and kill any intruders from the East. The Tenakth are a warrior tribe living in the Forbidden West, and are the first natives that Aloy encounters early in the game. This means there is a lot of lore behind the tribe that players can uncover as they complete the main and side quests in Horizon Forbidden West.
